After Dinner

First-time Theatre-maker

Five lonely people on the other side of 30 are confronted with who they truly are.

It's the 80's! In this heartfelt comedy, set in a suburban pub bistro on a Friday night, three office workers – Dympie, Paula and Monika – are desperately seeking a good night out. At an adjoining table are Gordon, recently abandoned by his wife, and Stephen, looking for something more than the usual one-night stand. As the night proceeds, inhibitions and social restraint disappear, exposing the foibles, pain and humour of the characters' inner lives.

Never Forgotten

Critical Acclaim for First-time Filmmaker and Actor

A mediator guides trauma victims in a trauma victims meeting. With neither film or drama school credentials, Michael Todorovic proved honest hard work, talent and teamwork is key to success. Michael is proud of his achievements with Never Forgotten, yes, but more-so humbled by it all. With a great cast and crew behind him, this is a film worth its view.

In his first ever theatre stint, Michael Todorovic was bestowed with the task in being the lead in 2 different plays for the 2019 Victorian Drama League One-Act Play Festival, and he rose to the occasion, receiving Best Actor nominations for both plays, and winning the Peridot Theatre Encouragement Award.

Denouement

First Time On-Set

A street-rebel who persuades his friend to steal a car.

A special thanks to Michael's assistant director from Never Forgotten, James Leete, for helping him land his first role in "Denouement". Directed by Taylor Adams with cinematographer, Jesse Leaman, Michael thoroughly enjoyed his time working on this short film, and looked forward to what was to come after.
